From Calgary, head east on the Trans Canada through Strathmore to Highway 561. It continues east. Take 561 for 17 miles (or 27 km). You will see Hussar. Just before you get there, take a sharp left back to the northwest, on what we call the elevator road, which you can imagine following the no-longer-there railroad. In about half a mile, you will see a driveway heading straight east, to a green, copper roofed house. That’s us.
